Dream BIG Mademoiselle

Bonjour, girl!

Don't mind me I'm just over here living my best Parisian life in the cobblestone streets of Soho. I shot this look with Denisse recently and when she sent me the shots I dieddddddd. I mean c'mon! Look at these photos! She truly has a gift and knows how to capture your beauty in a way that leaves your speechless. I'm so grateful to have her as a friend for so many reasons. She is EVERYTHING. If you are not following her, I honestly don't know what you are doing with your life. Check out her out HERE.

This look brought back so many Paris memories. I'll never forget my very first encounter with the Eiffel tower when I visited for the first time in 2014. I went to Europe for almost two weeks with two of my girlfriends after my college graduation. We had the option of a layover in Paris for 24-hours before we arrived at our first destination in Italy and it honestly took a total of five minutes for me to make up my mind on the layover option.

It was a HELL YES.

I don't care if we were only there for 24-hours. I would have rather experienced Paris for a day than always wonder what it was like.

Memories from Paris <3

About the Trip

The trip was absolutely perfect in every way and I had so much fun. The Eiffel tower was stunning  (especially at night when it twinkles), but it made me realize that I needed to dream BIGGER. You see, one of my dreams was to visit Paris. So when I finally did, I was all like...

And after the wonder and excitment wore off it hit me.

OMG. Visiting Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower was my biggest dream. Now what? I just "accomplished" my biggest dream. This can't be. What do I do next? What is life? What just happened? And then it hit me again. I needed to dream BIGGER. Like, really, really BIG. Like that one quote.

The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough
— Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

At one point, visiting Paris was not in my vision because I didn't think a girl like me could ever travel like that. Funny enough, during that trip I visited 5 countries (France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Morocco) and 8 cities (Paris, Rome, Cinque Terre, Florence, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Istanbul, and Casablanca) all on a college budget and had the absolute best time. You don't have to be rich to travel well and trust me, we traveled well.

That Europe trip taught me one of the most important lessons in life, to DREAM BIG and always have faith that those dreams will manifest. All those cities and countries were on my vision board that year. All of them. And I visited every single one.

So if you're reading this post just know that you are magic and that whatever you desire can be yours as long as you believe it already is.

Dream BIG Mademoiselle.

Love you all.
